Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has shared a heartfelt message for all-rounder Abhishek Sharma, wishing him a happy 24th birthday. Yuvraj took to social media to share a special video and some valuable advice for the young cricketer.

In the video, Yuvraj is seen working with Abhishek on his batting technique, particularly focusing on his bat swing. He also advised Abhishek to focus more on taking singles rather than just aiming for big hits. 

"Happy birthday sir Abhishek. Hope you take as many singles this year as you knock out of the park. Keep putting in the hard work! Loads of love and wishes for a great year ahead," Yuvraj wrote on X.

Yuvraj Singh has played a significant role in Abhishek’s growth as a cricketer, dedicating time to help improve his batting technique. This mentorship has been crucial in building Abhishek’s confidence, particularly as he prepares to face international-level competition.

Abhishek had an outstanding season in IPL 2024 with Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he scored 484 runs at an impressive strike rate of 204.21, including 42 sixes—the most in the tournament. His remarkable performance earned him his first call-up to the Indian national team for the tour to Zimbabwe in July, where he scored his maiden international century in the second T20I.
