Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim has announced the Pakistan squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against South Africa.
Top performers in domestic cricket, leg-spinner Zahid Mehmood and pacer Hasan Ali, have been named in the Pakistan squad.
Openers Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafique, pacers Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Musa have been dropped from the side.
Meanwhile, leg-spinner Shadab Khan, injury, all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, participating in T10 League, and Imad Wasim, family reasons, are unavailable for the series.
The iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be the venue of the three T20Is, which are scheduled for February 11, 13 and 14.
The squad along with the officials will enter the bio-secure bubble from Wednesday, February 3, the players taking part in the Test series will join the bubble at the end of the second Test that starts in Rawalpindi on Thursday, February 4.
