PSL 9: Rain wipes out both matches on Saturday

The season nine of Pakistan Super League (PSL) witnessed its first washed out day on Saturday due to rain.

Both contests, Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators vs Islamabad United, scheduled to take place in Rawalpindi, had to be abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Consequently, each of the four teams involved was granted a point, notably contributing to Lahore Qalandars securing their first point in the standings after participating in seven matches.

The action now moves back to Karachi, where the 19th match of the HBL Pakistan Super League 9 will take place between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans on Sunday.
