Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has announced the return of the much-anticipated Zim Afro T10 tournament for its second edition. The tournament, known for its fast-paced and entertaining format, will start on September 21 and conclude with a grand finale on September 29 in Harare.
The dates for the player draft and match fixtures will be revealed soon. All games will be held at the iconic Harare Sports Club, continuing the tradition set during the inaugural season. The Zim Afro T10 made history last year as the first tournament to be played under floodlights at the Harare Sports Club.
ZC Chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani expressed his excitement about the upcoming tournament, saying, “We are delighted to be opening our doors again for the Zim Afro T10 tournament.”
In the first edition, the Durban Qalandars (DQ) emerged victorious, defeating the Johannesburg Buffalos (JB) by eight wickets in a thrilling final last July.
