Left-hand opener Tamim Iqbal has termed the drawn 2015 Test match against Pakistan in Khulna as his favourite among the 60 Tests he has played for Bangladesh.
During a live conversation on Facebook with former South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis on late Wednesday, Tamim recalled the aforementioned Test in which he registered his highest individual score (206) and was adjudged player of the match for hi double century.
"I think it is one of my favourite Test matches. We were playing Pakistan and in Khulna. I think you have not been to Khulna," said Tamim.
"We were trailing by almost 280 or close to 300 runs and still had a day and a half to go. Mushy [Mushfiqur Rahim] got injured in that game and Imrul Kayes had to keep for almost 160 overs. And then in 10 minutes he had to come back and open innings with me. We had a record partnership which is still a record for the highest second innings opening stand. We had a partnership of 312 and Imrul went on to score 150 and we actually managed to draw that Test match. It was the best Test match that I ever played in," he added.

Meanwhile, Faf opened up about his team's heartbreaking loss to New Zealand in the 2015 World Cup semi-final.
"I've never been that much broken about a cricket match," Faf said. "That game specifically I have never seen so many grown men absolutely broken. Like half the team was crying and you know South Africans, we act like we are hard guys."
Du Plessis also said that quarantining players for two weeks before and after the Twenty20 World Cup could allow it to take place in Australia this year despite the coronavirus pandemic.
The tournament is due to be played in October-November but there is uncertainty after the cancellation of other major sporting events. Some countries have also grounded international flights.
"I read that travelling is going to be an issue for lots of countries," he said."Obviously Australia is not affected like other countries, but to get people from Bangladesh, South Africa or India where there is more danger with the virus, obviously it's a health risk to them. But you can actually go in before the tournament (for) two weeks' isolation and then play the tournament and afterwards, two weeks' isolation."
