Babar Azam & Co. set to perform Hajj this year

Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, is set to perform Hajj in the second week of June along with his mother, according to a report by a local media outlet.

The report further added that several other cricketers, including Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, Faheem Ashraf, and Fakhar Zaman, will also be performing the pilgrimage.

“A total of 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims will be performing Hajj this year,” said Minister for Religious Affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor, in March.

Earlier in the year, Babar, Iftikhar, Faheem, Haris Rauf, and other national cricketers performed Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan.

Babar and Rizwan are currently in United States of America (USA) and are set to embark on a unique educational journey at Harvard Business School. These two prolific batsmen will become the first cricketers to enroll in the prestigious institution's executive education program, focusing on The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS).

From May 31 to June 3, they will be attending classes at the Harvard Business School campus in Boston, Massachusetts.
