David Wiese, Samit Patel 'gutted' after missing out on remaining PSL 6 matches

South Africa’s David Wiese and England’s Samit Patel took to the social media platform Twitter to express their sadness after missing out on the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six matches.

Both players had enjoyed great success representing the Lahore Qalandars franchise during the season six of the tournament.

The Proteas cricketer however claimed that he had full faith in his side to pull off a tournament victory.

“Absolutely gutted to be missing the remaining matches in the PSL. But will be watching and supporting Lahore Qalandars all the way. Good luck and I’ve got full faith we gonna bring home the trophy,” Wiese tweeted.

The English all-rounder expressed hope that he would get to see his teammates soon despite the ongoing pandemic.

“Gutted not to be coming back for the remaining matches of the PSL 6. Wishing all the boys Lahore Qalandars very best of luck. Thanks Sameen Rana, Atif Naeem Rana and Aqib Javed. Hopefully see you all soon. Stay safe boys and bring it home,” Patel tweeted.
