Eliminator 1: Only two overseas players available for Zalmi tonight

Peshawar Zalmi will have to play with only two overseas players tonight in the important HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven clash.

Wahab Riaz led Zalmi will face Islamabad United in HBL PSL 7 Eliminator at Gaddafi Stadium. They are already without key players due to injuries and positive Covid-19 cases.

England's Ben Howell and Afghanistan's Hazratullah Zazai are the only two overseas players player available for Zalmi. Australia's Ben Cutting is the third overseas player but he is unavailable due to Covid-19.

Cutting along with Usman Qadir and Sohail Khan tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday. Team mentor Hashim Amla also become the victim of Covid-19 and all the individuals are currently in isolation.

Remember, Zalmi lost four overseas players last week due to various reasons. Liam Livingstone was ruled out of the competition due to a finger injury last week.

England's Saqib Mahmood also went back home to prepare for the Test series against West Indies.

West Indies' Sherfane Rutherford returned home due to family reasons while England's Tom Kohler-Cadmore was ruled out due to injury.

Benny Howell was announced as Kadmore's replacement for the remainder of the competition.
