Haris Rauf joins SDGs Parliamentary Task force as Goodwill Ambassador

Pakistan fast bowler, Haris Rauf, has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Parliamentary Task Force, further enhancing his profile both on and off the cricket field. 

This significant announcement was made during a National Assembly session, where Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani welcomed Rauf.

Durrani expressed his pleasure in announcing the pacer as the goodwill ambassador of the SDGs Parliamentary Task Force during the session. 

"I am pleased today to announce him [Haris Rauf] as the goodwill ambassador of SDGs Parliamentary Task Force," Durrani said during the session. 

 

Following the session, the 29-year-old was warmly received by Durrani and Romina Khurshid, the Convener of the SDGs Parliamentary Task Force. Haris was presented with a shield to commemorate the occasion in recognition of his new role.

This recent appointment adds to the list of accolades Haris has received in the past year. Earlier in the year, he was bestowed with the honorary rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) by the Islamabad police, further solidifying his stature in the country.
