Livingstone gutted after leaving Peshawar Zalmi at a crucial stage

Peshawar Zalmi's Liam Livingstone was ruled out of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven due to a finger injury.

The 28-year-old is disappointed to leave the tournament as the knockout phase is just a few days back.

He thanked the people of Pakistan for their support and will be supporting Zalmi from home.

"Gutted to be leaving the PSL at a crucial stage, but unfortunately injuries are a part of professional sport! Thanks to everyone in Pakistan for the hospitality and support! Finally thanks to Peshawar Zalmi," England all-rounder tweeted.

"I will be watching and following from home, bring home the trophy boys,"  he added.

The all-rounder had very underwhelming performances as he only picked up two wickets in four matches and contributed 39 runs with the bat.
