Pakistan fast-bowler Mohammad Asif and his family were injured due to a car accident during the wee hours of Monday.
According to details, pacer's car rammed into a footpath due to over-speeding. The 35-year-old, his wife and two daughters sustained minor injuries.
The mishap occurred while he was going back home with his family in Lahore. His vehicle narrowly escaped a collision with a speeding car and consequently hit a footpath.
Asif, along with Salman Butt and Mohammad Amir, was banned for five years by the International Cricket Council (ICC) due to his involvement in spot-fixing during Pakistan tour of England in 2010.
Asif is currently playing domestic cricket with Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).
