Over the past three Test matches, Pakistan pacers have been below par as they struggled to make an impact and only picked two wickets

The horrible performance of the pacers has led to the failure to pick 20 wickets in the long format game, which has cost Pakistan numerous affairs.

Statistically, Pakistan's pacers have been in the worst conditions in Test cricket this year. They have picked up only 45 wickets in nine Test matches, which is the second-lowest in the world. Meanwhile, a pacer is yet to pick any five-wicket haul in 2022.

Pakistan has utilized only six pacers, including three debutants, in the previous four Tests. The most experienced pacer they have is Naseem Shah, who has only played 14 Test matches in his short, successful career.

By this, it can be easily judged that Pakistan's fast bowling unit needs to be more experienced.
