PSL 8: Sarfaraz to miss last game, how can Quetta qualify for playoffs?

Quetta Gladiators' captain Sarfaraz Ahmed will miss another crucial match against Multan Sultans at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight due to a finger injury.

This will be the second match in a row for Sarfaraz. He was also not available in the match against Peshawar Zalmi on Wednesday.

Mohammad Nawaz will continue lead the Gladiators in Sarfaraz's absence.

Quetta must win their last league stage match against Multan Sultans by a big margin to make it to the playoff round of the PSL 8.

The team needs a swing of approximately 100 runs in their favor from the previous games. Meanwhile, Babar Azam-led Zalmi can qualify for the playoffs even if they lose by a close margin.

Quetta Gladiators are in fifth position on the points table by winning just three games, with six points after nine matches.
