PSL 9: Shadab Khan makes history with rare feat

Shadab Khan made history during the first Eliminator on Friday as he became the first Pakistani cricketer to achieve both 300 runs and 10 wickets in a single PSL season.

Previously, England's Ravi Bopara (2016) and Australia's Shane Watson (2018) had accomplished this feat.

Shadab's batting prowess was evident as he scored 301 runs in 10 innings this season, boasting an average of 37.62 and a striking rate of 147.54, with three half-centuries to his name.

On the bowling front, Shadab showcased his skill by securing 10 wickets across 10 matches, maintaining an economy rate of 8.58.

As the skipper of Islamabad United, Shadab led his team to victory against Quetta Gladiators in the first Eliminator. United is now gearing up to face Peshawar Zalmi in the second Eliminator scheduled for Saturday.
