Quetta Gladiators' all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has been ruled out of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to a foot injury.
According to details, the 27-year-old has suffered a navicular bone fracture. Gladiators' management will now ask HBL PSL's technical committee for a replacement of Nawaz.
Mohammad Nawaz is among the players selected for the Test series against Australia. He will not be able to participate in the series as MRI scan has confirmed a fracture in his foot.
Nawaz's injury is quite a big setback for Gladiators as the all-rounder was reasonably doing well with both bat and ball.
In four innings, he scored 78 runs with a strike rate of 205.26. He also took six wickets in five games at an economy of 8.40.
It must be noted that Gladiators are at fourth on the points table. They have won two games out of five and will take on Islamabad United tomorrow.
