Sarfaraz, who made his comeback in Test cricket after almost four years, scored 86 runs and created a partnership of 196 runs alongside skipper Babar Azam.

With this, Sarfaraz Ahmed becomes the top wicketkeeper-batter for Pakistan to score the most runs in Test cricket.

The 35-year-old surpassed Kamran Akmal and former captain Moin Khan to reach the top of the board.

It is to be noted that the Blackcaps are playing the longest-format games in Pakistan after 20 years.
