Former Pakistan pacer Aqib Javed while speaking during a local media talk show, clearly said that former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez would be a batter option for the post of Pakistan cricket team's chief selector.

When asked about the selection committee, Aaqib Javed stated that he believed Shahid Afridi will only serve as chairman for a brief time due to other commitments.
