Aqib Javed thinks Mohammad Hafeez is a great choice for Chief Selector

Former Pakistan pacer Aqib Javed while speaking during a local media talk show, clearly said that former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez would be a batter option for the post of Pakistan cricket team's chief selector.

Aqib Javed said that Najam Sethi did a terrific job launching the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in 2016 and that PSL was like his baby.

He criticised Ramiz Raja and Ehsan Mani, claiming that people would only be remembered for their work and that PCB had been wrecked in the last three years.

When asked about the selection committee, Aaqib Javed stated that he believed Shahid Afridi will only serve as chairman for a brief time due to other commitments.

According to Aaqib Javed, Muhammad Hafeez is the finest choice for the position, and someone who knows the players and the system should be on it.

The head coach of Lahore Qalandars said Shoaib Akhtar was not the ideal pick for chairman of the selection committee as he did not know anything about grassroots level.
