Shaheen Shah Afridi also becomes the 11th Pakistan bowler to claim 50 T20I wickets.

After returning from a knee injury, the left-arm pacer struggled to regain his pre-injury form. Today, he bowled accurately, taking three wickets for 14 runs in three overs.

Afridi had only taken one wicket in his previous three appearances against India, Zimbabwe, and the Netherlands. His only wicket came against the Netherlands.

Pakistan defeated South Africa in a do-or-die situation game. Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed dazzled with the bat, helping Pakistan set a convincing 186-run target.

Later on, Shaheen led the bowling line from the front, taking most of Pakistan's three wickets. Shadab took two wickets, while Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Wasim Jr each took one.
