Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, traveled from Hyderabad, to Ahmedabad for the ICC Captain's Day for World Cup 2023 on Wednesday.
All the ten captains will assemble for the event, featuring a photo session and a press conference.
The participating captains include Rohit Sharma from India, Pat Cummins from Australia, Jos Buttler from England, Kane Williamson from New Zealand, Babar Azam from Pakistan, Dasun Shanaka from Sri Lanka, Temba Bavuma from South Africa, Shakib Al Hasan from Bangladesh, Hashmatullah Shahidi from Afghanistan, and Scott Edwards from the Netherlands.
The Pakistan Cricket Board's official social media accounts posted a video of Babar Azam's journey from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad for the event, highlighting his arrival and interaction with the Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, upon reaching the venue.
The World Cup is set to begin in from October 5, with the opening match between New Zealand and defending champions England in Ahmedabad.
Pakistan will play their first match against Netherlands on October 6 in Hyderabad.
