WATCH: Naseem Shah's searing bowling spell against Australia A

Pakistan’s 16-year-old fast-bowler Naseem Shah delivered a scintillating bowling spell against Australia A on the third day of the three-day practice match on Wednesday in Perth.

The young pacer took no time in delivering the perfect ball in only his second over that missed the bat and the wicket by mere inches.

The 16-year-old started to heat things up with regular bouncers, one of which caught batsman Usman Khawaja on the shoulder. His raw pace and energy was on full display throughout the entire spell.

Naseem’s energy almost paid dividends when he got batsman Marcus Harris to edge a ball to slip, however fielder Haris Sohail dropped a simple catch at first slip to deny the youngster his first wicket.

The young speedster, however, charged back and delivered a ball with pace that proved too much for Harris, who ended up getting caught behind.

Earlier, Naseem tore through Pakistan’s first-class structure taking 26 wickets in just six matches at an average of 16.50, which led to his eventual selection for the tour of Australia. The youngster could be another product of a country that has produced a plethora of young sensations.

His early exploits indicate a player who is ready to take on Australia and dazzle the world with his raw talent.
