WATCH: Yasir Shah's emphatic celebration after reaching maiden Test century

Pakistan’s leg-spinner Yasir Shah shocked the entire world by scoring his maiden Test century against Australia on day three of the second and last Test at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide on Sunday.

The Men in Green were 89 for the loss of six wickets when Yasir joined batsman Babar Azam at the crease. The two batsmen stitched together a partnership of 105 runs to save their side from utter embarrassment.

Babar departed agonisingly close to a century, when he was caught behind by fast-bowler Mitchell Starc on 97. Yasir, however, showed no signs of slowing down and worked his way to a surprising, albeit well-deserved hundred.

Yasir finally fell to fast-bowler Pat Cummins after scoring 113 runs off 213 balls and guiding Pakistan to a respectable 302 in their first innings.
