Pakistan cricketer, Hasan Ali, expressed his regret over a crucial dropped catch during the semi-final match against Australia in the ICC T20I World Cup 2021.

Recently, Hasan expressed his admiration on Twitter for the remarkable performance of his team, the Birmingham Bears, as they achieved a remarkable feat of winning five consecutive matches in the ongoing Vitality Blast tournament.

In response to his tweet, a fan reminded Hasan of the dropped catch during the semi-final of the aforementioned ICC tournament, saying, "But we still didn't forget that catch against Australia ."

Deeply moved by the fan's tweet, the 28-year-old acknowledged the gravity of the moment and the impact it had on the team's chances in the semi-final. 

The pacer expressed his sadness over the missed catch and conveyed his regret, stating that the memory of the dropped opportunity will never be forgotten till last breath.

"Even I still remember and will never forget till last breath or even after 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭," he said.

Pakistan maintained an unbeaten record in the group stage of the tournament, triumphing not only against other teams but also showcasing a remarkable performance against India, defeating them by ten wickets for the first time in the history of an ICC event.

However, Australia sneaked a win after Hasan Ali dropped Matthew Wade's catch in the 19th over. Australia  required 20 runs to win off ten deliveries when Hasan dropped the catch; what followed was absolute carnage from the left-handed wicketkeeper-batter.
