Zainab Abbas excited to take the stage at ICC World Cup 2023

Zainab Abbas, a highly regarded Pakistani cricket presenter, is set to feature in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023, scheduled to start in India on October 5.

Expressing her enthusiasm on X, formerly known as Twitter, Zainab conveyed her sense of honor to be presenting at the Cricket World Cup 2023 in India. She highlighted the shared cultural bonds, sportsmanship, and common love for art between the neighboring nations, emphasizing the significance of this opportunity to represent her country and collaborate with cricket experts.

"There was always intrigue on what lies on the other side, more cultural similarities than differences, rivals on the field but camaraderie off the field, the same language & love for art & a country with a billion people, here to represent, to create content & bring in expertise from the best in the business. Previously, the International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the commentary panel for the World Cup 2023. This panel includes notable figures from Pakistan, such as Ramiz Raja and Waqar Younis.

The ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held in India, featuring 10 teams vying for the prestigious title across 10 venues from October 5 to November 19. The tournament will begin at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, hosting both the opening match and the final.
