Aamir Sohail expressed his critical opinion about Naseem Shah during the ongoing first Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Galle.

While Naseem was holding one end and contributing to Pakistan's increasing lead, commentator Ramiz Raja commented on Naseem's batting abilities.

In response, Aamir Sohail remarked that Naseem should focus on developing not just his batting muscle, but also his brain muscle.

“Naseem doesn't have any problem developing the batting muscle,” Raja said.

“There is another muscle he needs to develop, the brain muscle. He will become a better cricketer and bowler,” Sohail replied.

Naseem has currently stitched an unbeaten partnership of over 70 runs with Saud Shakeel, taking Pakistan’s lead in first innings over 100 runs.

It is not the first time that Aamir Sohail has expressed his concerns about Naseem Shah's game. Last year, during a series against Sri Lanka, Sohail had commented on Naseem's bowling action, suggesting that it needed to be remodeled.
