Pakistan will have the privilege of having former captains Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq as part of their team
Shahid Afridi, the renowned former all-rounder, has been confirmed to represent Pakistan in the upcoming Over-40 World Cup, slated to be held in Karachi from September 23 to October 8 this year.
Notably, Pakistan will have the privilege of having former captains Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq as part of their team.
The decision was reached during a recent meeting attended by Fawad Ijaz Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA), Shahid Afridi himself, Nadeem Omar, the Director of PVCA, and Zafar Malik, the CEO of Shahid Afridi Foundation.
Adding to the excitement, the Shahid Afridi Foundation will also be serving as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partner for the World Cup.
The tournament will witness the participation of eight teams, including Australia, Canada, USA, UAE, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and West Indies.
