More England players are looking to follow Alex Hales’ example, who has decided to skip England's upcoming tour to Bangladesh, in order to honour his £145,000 contract with Islamabad United for the upcoming edition of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), reported The Telegraph.

England is scheduled to square off against Bangladesh in three T20Is and as many ODIs, which will be played between March 1 to 14. Whereas, HBL PSL 8 will take place from February 13 to March 19.

Sam Billings, Liam Dawson and James Vince, are also expected to turn up for their respective PSL franchises instead of making themselves available for Bangladesh tour.

“Alex Hales will not be included in the squad for Bangladesh as he is set to remain at the Pakistan Super League where he has a lucrative deal. It is understood Sam Billings, Liam Dawson and James Vince will do the same,” the aforementioned report stated.

Sam Billings was recently selected in the PSL replacement draft by Lahore Qalandars as partial replacement of Rashid Khan, whereas Dawson is already part of the franchise. Vince is also likely to turn up for Karachi Kings for the entire edition.

Tymal Mills and Richard Gleeson, who were recently picked in the replacement for Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi respectively, are also are considering their availability for the T20I leg of the Bangladesh tour.

England is expected to name the squad for the Bangladesh tour this week.
