Pakistan's fast bowler Ihsanullah is expected to be sidelined from cricket for the next four to five months after his existing elbow injury took a turn for the worse, according to a media report.

Despite his injury, Ihsanullah persisted with his weight training regimen, which unfortunately resulted in a fracture.

The decision to undergo surgery was made by medical professionals in England after a thorough examination of Ihsanullah's medical reports.
Having been discharged from the hospital, Ihsanullah has embarked on his rehabilitation program to aid his recovery.

The report further added that his prospects for playing the Pakistan Super League (PSL) next year appear to be in jeopardy.
