Usman Khan, the wicketkeeper-batter for Multan Sultans, is set to be absent from his team's upcoming match in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

His sudden departure to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is attributed to personal reasons, as reported by local media. Hence, Usman will not be participating in Multan's scheduled match against Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

The report further added that Usman will return to Pakistan for his side’s clash against Islamabad United on March 10 in Rawalpindi.

Usman smashed his second HBL PSL career century, helping Multan beat Karachi Kings on Sunday by 20 runs. The right-arm batter smashed an unbeaten 106 on 59 deliveries, including an impressive tally of 10 boundaries and five maximums.

In a similar vein, Kieron Pollard, the all-rounder for Karachi Kings, had temporarily left the team's squad to attend the pre-wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani in India.

Consequently, Pollard missed Karachi's previous encounter against Multan Sultans. However, he is expected to re-join the team on March 4 in Rawalpindi and will be ready to participate in the match against Quetta Gladiators on March 6.
