Ali Hussain has been elected as the secretary of the Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) for the period of next three years.

Hussian was elected after managing to get 11 votes, whereas his closes rival Tauseef Siddiqui managed to get nine votes.

For the post of secretary, elections took place on Monday at the National Stadium in Karachi where a total of four candidates participated, three out which were from a like-minded group.

Newly elected KCCA President Nadeem Umar has already indicated earlier that he will work closely with the elected secretary for the betterment of the game in the city.
