Former Indian cricketer Amit Mishra has been criticised for his tweet regarding Pakistan captain Babar Azam following his unlucky run-out against the Netherlands in their T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 match on Sunday at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

Babar was unlucky against the Dutch when Roelof van der Merwe ordered him back to the pavilion following a run-out. Following this, Amit posted on Twitter: "This, too, will pass. Keep going, Babar Azam. "

This too shall pass. Stay strong @babarazam258. 🙏🏽

Earlier this month, Babar had spoke same words for out-of-form Kohli and Mishra used the exact words after Pakistan captain performance

.

The former bowler, though, came under fire for the tweet. Not only Pakistani cricket fans, but even Indian cricket fans, criticise him for his unjustifiable troll.

not funny at all.. Babar genuinely wish Kohli dont downgrade yourself sir for some Like/Rt

Tweet from Babar was only to encourage and support VK, it was not a mocking at all, he also clearified everything in an interview by saying that, "this time could be on anyone but VK is a world class player, he know how to come out of these situations"!! Such a shameful act..

Dude, Babar did it with good intentions to Kohli… no need to be a troll..!

Pakistan trounced the Netherlands by four wickets on Sunday. The green shirts kept the European team to 91 runs before chasing down the mark in 13.5 overs, thanks to a superb bowling effort from the bowlers.

It is worth noting that the Men in Green must win their final two Super 12s games to have a chance to advance to the semi-finals. However, their qualification is also contingent on the outcomes of the other matches in the group.

Pakistan will play against South Africa in their fourth match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Thursday, November 3.
