England’s fast-bowling duo James Anderson and Stuart Broad were left in awe while responding to a video, on Twitter, in which Pakistan’s legendary former pacer Wasim Akram picked up five wickets while conceding 10 runs in just seven overs to secure a place for Lancashire in the Benson and Hedges Cup final after a win against Leicestershire in 1993.

The dynamic swing of Akram was on full display as he dismantled the opposition and left the batsmen clueless on the crease as their stumps were uprooted.

Anderson responded by making three heart-eyed emojis to signify his love for Akram’s craft, whereas Broad made comparisons to the reverse swing generated by the legendary fast-bowler during his immortal spell that helped Pakistan clinch their maiden World Cup victory in 1992.

“The same level of reverse swing as 92 WC Final Fire except this time Neil Fairbrother is smiling....” Broad tweeted.

😍😍😍
