In a close match against Peshawar Zalmi, Azam Khan showed his power with the bat, delivering a scintillating innings of 75 runs off just 30 balls.

However, despite his exceptional performance, Azam expressed dissatisfaction with his knock, lamenting a missed opportunity to finish the match.

Speaking after the match, Azam reflected on his innings and regretted that had he remained at the crease, the outcome of the match could have been different.

"If I hadn't gotten out, the match could have ended 5 or 6 balls earlier. I am not satisfied with my knock. I should have finished the match," Azam said.

Despite falling short of his personal expectations, Azam acknowledged the exceptional acceleration displayed by Zalmi captain Babar Azam. He praised Babar's development of new shots, highlighting it as a positive sign for Pakistan cricket.

Babar's accelaration was exceptional and the way he has developed new shots, it is a good sign for Pakistan," he further added.

It is worth noting that Babar's impressive century (111 off 63), supported by Arif Yaqoob's five-wicket haul, propelled Peshawar Zalmi to victory over United by eight runs in the 13th match of PSL 9 on Monday at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
