Pakistan's captain Babar Azam had an engaging conversation with former South African cricket legend AB de Villiers on his YouTube channel ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

During their chat, Babar expressed his team’s high spirits and confidence for the mega event.

"Yes, we are going for the World Cup. Our confidence is very high. We have a good team and senior players are stepping up, so this helps you a lot. We are very excited for the World Cup," he shared.

De Villiers inquired about Babar's long-term career plans, asking if he envisioned playing until the age of 40 or preferred to take it one step at a time.

Babar responded candidly, saying, "Honestly, I am just thinking day by day. I am not thinking about at what age I am going to stop playing. Right now, I am just enjoying my game and love playing cricket."
