Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has responded to his critics after the star batter was called out for not performing in crucial situations.

The 28-year-old managed to score 4 and 1, respectively, in the fourth innings of the first two Tests against England. The spectators also mocked Babar at Multan Cricket Stadium.

Babar was also asked in the presser after the second Test over his performances in the crucial stages, to which he responded that if he scores or not, people would still talk about it and reminded he was the one who performed against Australia in the second Test where he scored 196.

Babar shared a picture on Twitter with a cryptic caption. "Do not let compliments go to your head and criticism to your heart," he wrote.

It must be noted Pakistan lost the first two tests of the three-match series. For the first time since 1959, Pakistan has lost three consecutive Tests at home.

The two sides will now play the last Test in Karachi from December 17 to 21.
