Pakistan skipper Babar Azam produced a career-best knock of 196 against Australia in the second Test of the three-match series at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Chasing a record 506 for an improbable win, Pakistan's best bet was to bat out the final day and Babar led by example as they finished on 443-7, the sixth-highest fourth-innings total of all time.

The 27-year-old was solid as a rock, playing 425 balls and registered numerous records. He made the highest score by a captain in the fourth innings of the Test, surpassing England's Michael Atherton of 185*.
He is also the seventh-highest scorer in the fourth innings of the Test, fourth on the list of facing maximum balls in an innings.
As Babar received praise from the cricket fraternity, former England captain Michael Vaughan opined that undoubtedly Babar Azam is the best all-format batter in the world currently.
"Without question, I think Babar Azam is the best all-round batter in the world right now, brilliant across all the formats," Vaughan tweeted.
