PCB is holding the match with support from Balochistan government
Babar Azam XI will square off against Sarfaraz Ahmed XI in an exhibition match in Bugti Stadium, Quetta on February 5.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is holding the aforementioned event with support from Balochistan government, as a precursor to the upcoming eighth edition of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Earlier, the PCB Management Committee, led by Najam Sethi, had announced to add Quetta as the fifth venue for the eighth edition of the PCB’s annual marquee event, which is scheduled to be held from 13 February to 19 March. However, now the PCB has decided to scrap their previous plan and have instead decided on holding an exhibition match in Quetta, to engage the fans on Kashmir Day.
Babar will lead Team Yellow, which will comprise of players like Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Haris, Danish Aziz and Saim Ayub. Whereas, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Hasnain, Naseem Shah and Umar Akmal will turn up for Team Purple, under the leadership of Sarfaraz Ahmed.
