Australia's Ben Cutting wants his country's cricket team to tour Pakistan next year without any worries.

The Aussies are scheduled to tour Pakistan for the first time since 1998 where they will play three Tests and four white-ball matches.

Meanwhile, Cutting will be in Pakistan next month for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven where he will link up with Peshawar Zalmi. He previously represented Quetta Gladiators in the last two editions.

The 34-year-old opined that he has not thought about the security of the country even once. "Not once have I been worried about the security side of things," Cutting told AAP.

"The second visit I was more worried about COVID than anything else because that was kicking off," he added.

Cutting thinks that the Pakistan fans would be itching to see Australia on their grounds.

"I hope the Aussie boys get to tour there. The locals would certainly love that."

"They're just so passionate. They get massive crowds for games and if one of the best teams in the world, like Australia, are playing they'd absolutely love it."
