Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi presided over a crucial gathering of all PCB Directors at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore to assess and strategize revenue generation efforts. Each Director provided an overview of their department's operations to the chairman.

Among the topics discussed were the promotion strategy for HBL PSL and the potential establishment of a Women’s T20 League in Pakistan. COO PCB Salman Naseer and Commissioner HBL PSL Naila Bhatti were also in attendance.

During the meeting, the Chairman engaged in extensive discussions with all Directors, particularly focusing on Commercial and Marketing aspects, urging a comprehensive revenue plan for the Pakistan Cricket Board's future. He directed the Directors to develop a feasible and impactful strategy to boost revenue.

Additionally, the participants deliberated keenly on plans for a women's T20 league inspired by HBL PSL standards. Enhancing training facilities to international standards for both male and female players at the National Cricket Academy was also a key topic of discussion.

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi: “A comprehensive plan must be put in place at all administrative levels to promote cricket country-wide and to uphold the standards of the game being one of the prominent cricketing nations.

“The PCB must be made a leading institution for facilitating players of all ages, backgrounds and areas. I want to streamline the working of the board and get rid of administrative issues that lead to a decrease in productivity of the board and its employees.”
