Character shown by Babar Azam and his men: Daren Ganga

West Indies’ former cricketer Daren Ganga, in a Tweet on Wednesday, praised the character shown by Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam and his men after the Men in Green won the second Test against West Indies and leveled the two-match Test series.

The 42-year-old termed the performance of pacer Shaheen Shah as exceptional.

“Pakistan win and level the series, character shown by Babar Azam and his men. West Indies players competed but they were outplayed in the end. An enthralling series comes to a 1-1 end. Shaheen Shah was exceptional with the ball,” Ganga said.

Pakistan defeated West Indies in the second Test by 109 runs to level the two-match Test series after the hosts had come out victorious in the first Test.

Shaheen Shah was instrumental to Pakistan’s cause in the second Test, grabbing the man of the match award after his exceptional spell of fast-bowling helped his side to a convincing victory.
