Comilla Victorians retain Mohammad Rizwan for BPL 2024

The reigning champions of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Comilla Victorians, have successfully retained the services of Pakistan wicket-keeper batter, Mohammad Rizwan, for the highly anticipated 2024 edition of the tournament. 

The announcement was made through the social media platform 'X', generating excitement among cricket enthusiasts and fans alike.

Rizwan's impressive performance in the previous season of the BPL undoubtedly contributed to the decision of the Comilla Victorians' management. 

In the previous edition of the aforementioned tournament, the right-hand batter scored 351 runs in 10 matches with a 50.14 average and 126.25 strike rate. He had four half-centuries, showcasing his consistency and skill, making him a key player for the team.

The Comilla Victorians, known for their strong cricketing presence, emerged victorious in the last BPL season, clinching the championship by defeating Sylhet Strikes in a thrilling encounter. Their triumphant performance led them to lift the coveted BPL trophy for an impressive fourth time. 

It is worth noting that the tenth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League is expected to take place from January 10 to February 2024.
