Babar Azam's 196-run knock helped Pakistan secure a memorable draw against Australia

Pakistan captain Babar Azam led from the front as Pakistan secured a memorable draw against Australia on Day 5 of the second Test match.

Babar Azam fell four runs short of his maiden double century but his 196-run inning has seen immense praise from the cricket fraternity.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan also played a crucial role in securing the draw against a formidable Australian side.

Ayaz Memon commented on Babar Azam's brilliance and wrote on Twitter, "Babar Azam may have missed out on a double century but has gained entry into the galaxy of batting greats methinks."

Renowned Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle also shared his views and said, "Test cricket was where Babar Azam needed to take a step up and here it is. 480 to get and 170 overs to bat when he walked in. Hope of a miraculous win might have flickered but even a draw is a great result. What a player."
