During a special interview in Dubai with Pakistan Cricket's biggest website Cricket Pakistan, Dinesh Chandimal stated that Babar Azam is undoubtedly my favorite among all Pakistan batsmen.

"It is not easy to maintain consistency in performance, but the Pakistan captain has performed well in all three formats; he adapts to every style of cricket very quickly," said Chandimal.

Regarding the Men in Green's tour of Sri Lanka this year, he said that we will see good cricket in the upcoming tour.

"We are looking forward to hosting the Pakistan team once again. Pakistan is a very good team, and the Sri Lanka team is looking forward to play good cricket against them this year," said Dinesh.

When asked about not playing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), former Sri Lankan captain Dinesh Chandimal said," I want to play Pakistan Super League; I put my name in the auction every year, especially since the last two years, but I didn't get the opportunity, and if I get the opportunity and contract then I will definitely come to Pakistan to play."

Chandimal also thanked the Emirates Cricket Board for organizing such a big tournament, providing an excellent platform for international, UAE, and associate member cricketers to showcase their talent.

"I have come to play four times; the experience of playing here has been good; the conditions and pitches are difficult for the batters," he said.

"The squad of Desert Vipers includes many experienced cricketers, and we are determined to perform well in the event. Hopefully, the players will be able to perform as per expectations," he concluded.
