The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has submitted a draft schedule for the 2025 Champions Trophy to the International Cricket Council (ICC), reported CricBuzz.

The tournament is slated to run from February 19 to March 9, with match dates currently being finalized.

A key highlight of the schedule is the eagerly awaited India-Pakistan match, which is planned as the last game of the league stage in this eight-team, 15-match competition. This match is proposed to be held in Lahore, though it depends on the Indian government's approval for their team to play in Pakistan.

If approval is not granted, the tournament might use a hybrid model similar to the one used in the previous year's Asia Cup, with the UAE hosting the India games. Despite this, the PCB has been advised to continue its preparations as planned.

The PCB has selected Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi as venues for the 20-day event, with Lahore designated for the India matches. According to the schedule, Lahore will host seven matches, Rawalpindi will host five, and Karachi will host three.

The tournament's opening match is set for February 19 in Karachi, while the semifinals will be held in Karachi and Rawalpindi. The final, scheduled for March 9, will take place in Lahore, which will also host all of India's matches and their semifinal if they advance.
