Pakistan men's cricket team players will receive more than PKR1 crore each after playing the final of the T20 World Cup.

The Men in Green faced a five-wicket defeat to England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and as per calculation, the side will get about $1million (more than 220 million Pakistani rupees).

The ICC announced that the runners-up team will be given $800,000. The Men in Green will also receive $120,000 ($40,000) each for the three victories in the Super 12 stage.

There will be an equal split among all players while one portion will be given to the team management. As Fakhar Zaman also participated in one game, there will be 17 portions, 16 to cricketers and one to remaining member on support.

As per estimation, each player will get around PKR1 crore 30 lakh rupees. Mohammad Hasnain and Khushdil Shah will get huge compensation without playing a match.

On the other hand, ICC gave each player a daily allowance of 125 Australian dollars (83 US dollars) during the tournament. PCB added 31 US dollars and paid a daily allowance of 114 to players.
