Emotional Hafeez ecstatic to play in front of home crowd

Pakistan top-order batsman Mohammad Hafeez just couldn’t control his emotions after playing in front of his home crowd in Sargodha for the very first time.

Hafeez was participating in an exhibition cricket match between DC Sargodha and Pakistan XI which was held at the Sargodha Stadium on Sunday and included cricketing greats Inzamam ul Haq, Misbah ul Haq, Abdul Razzaq and Saeed Ajmal alongside local cricketers.

The 37-year-old took to Twitter to thanks his fans.

“I was very emotional today as I was playing my 1st ever match in sargodha in front of my home town crowd with all legends of cricket, all for Fans, thanks to all ppl to come in large no to support us all, 18 thousands crowd, full pack stadium,” he tweeted.
