Bangladesh duo have been recognized for their exceptional performance against Zimbabwe, as they have significantly advanced in the latest ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings.

The Bangladeshi team will certainly be uplifted by the impressive form displayed by seamer Taskin Ahmed and spinner Mahedi Hasan, just ahead of the forthcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Taskin Ahmed has particularly stood out with six wickets at an outstandingly low average of 8.83 across three matches against Zimbabwe. His stellar performance has propelled him six places up to the 26th rank on the most recent T20I bowler rankings. Similarly, Mahedi Hasan has demonstrated his prowess by climbing six positions on the same list, now sharing the 22nd spot, following his three wickets from two encounters with the African team.

As Mahedi Hasan and Taskin Ahmed ascend in the rankings, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan have each slipped down one spot to 24th and 27th place, respectively.

Meanwhile, in the batting department, young talent Towhid Hridoy has emerged as the leading run-scorer in the series' initial three matches in Bangladesh. His remarkable performance, amassing 127 runs with two unbeaten innings against Zimbabwe, has propelled him from beyond the top 100 to the joint 90th position in the T20I rankings for batters.

On the other hand, Sikandar Raza has experienced a decline in his rankings, dropping six places to 63rd position due to his modest scores of 1, 3, and 0 against Bangladesh. This downturn has facilitated Fakhar Zaman's rise by one spot to the 61st position.
