The governing body of FIFA has recently emulated Pakistan pace bowler Hasan Ali in an Instagram post celebrating England winger Bukayo Saka.
The post, shared on Sunday, followed Saka's vital 80th-minute goal, equalizing the score against Switzerland in the Euro Cup quarter-final.
Switzerland's Breel Embolo had put his team ahead with a goal in the 75th minute, but Saka quickly responded, leveling the score just five minutes later.
England eventually triumphed in the match, winning 5-3 on penalties, and will face the Netherlands in the semi-finals on July 11.
FIFA's Instagram post featured a picture of Saka with the caption "Saka karlega," a playful nod to Hasan Ali's famous "King karlega" comment from a local podcast last year.
During a podcast, Hasan praised Babar Azam and revealed that Pakistani players affectionately call him 'King' in the dressing room. Hasan’s remark, "Hum usko Babar nahi King kehte hain… Yaar King karlega," quickly becamepular meme among cricket fans.
For context, Hasan Ali is currently in England, participating in the ongoing County Championship League for Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
