Lahore Qalandars’ batsman has been in scintillating form during HBL PSL 5
Former Pakistan cricketer Tanvir Ahmed compared Lahore Qalandars' middle-order batsman Ben Dunk with a truck driver while highlighting his power-hitting ability.
Tanvir, in a Youtube video, claimed that Dunk’s 99-run match winning knock against Karachi Kings on Sunday was one of the best innings in HBL Pakistan Super League’s (PSL)'s history.
“Dunk played an extraordinary innings. He was hitting sixes at will regardless of whoever was bowling,” said Tanvir. “Ben Dunk was looking like a truck driver and his head was also shining. He has a broad build and is a very strong man. He has played one of the best knocks in PSL history. I really enjoyed his batting a lot.”
“Even though Amir Yamin’s injury hurt Karachi Kings, but I believe that Dunk wouldn’t have spared any bowler considering the shots he was playing,” he added.

The 41-year-old was happy to see Lahore Qalandars make a comeback in the tournament and is excited for the upcoming matches.
“It’s a great win for Lahore Qalandars as earlier they were down and out. It remains to be seen how Qalandars perform from here. If they win all their next matches, they will qualify for the playoffs,” he said. “I am really enjoying this season of PSL as we have witnessed some great display of batting and bowling. I hope the rest of the matches are interesting as well.”
