Peshawar Zalmi captain was speaking to media ahead of his side’s match against Lahore Qalandars
Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz has made a tongue-in-cheek comment regarding Ben Dunk, after being asked about his plans to tackle the explosive left-hander in their upcoming match against Lahore Qalandars.
Ben Dunk played a stunning match-winning knock, where he remained unbeaten on 99 runs, to take his side to an improbable victory against the Karachi Kings.
“We will take away his [Ben Dunk] bubblegum,” said Riaz on a lighter note while talking to media at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
“Ben Dunk is playing exceedingly well but we will go in with a plan to tackle him, although I can’t share that with you right now,” he added.

Peshawar are currently placed at the second position in the points table with nine points from eight games and a win against Lahore on Tuesday will significantly improve their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.
“You can’t say anything for sure right now with regards to who will qualify for the playoffs which is why we want to win our remaining games and lock our place in the final four,” he said.
