Former Pakistan cricketer Sajjad Akbar has passed away at the age of 63 due to a heart attack, as confirmed by his brother, Amir Akbar.

The cricketing world is mourning the loss of this dedicated sportsman and mentor who made his international debut against India.

Akbar, a highly respected figure in Pakistani cricket, played in two one-day internationals (ODIs) for the national team.

Despite his brief stint on the international stage, he had a substantial impact on domestic cricket, participating in 182 first-class matches.
